Sally Hartshorn fell in love with felting when she saw some inspiring pieces on a trip to Massachusetts, where she grew up. Silk fusion art is an exciting form of felting, which Sally employs to make artful bowls, sculptures and jewelry. Her love of vibrant color is reflected in most of her art work.
When she is not immersed in art, she is out bathing in nature somewhere with her husband, tending their garden that is filled with many native plants, and, as a survivor of Long COVID, providing advocacy for fellow survivors.
