This year, 2022, Harlequin’s Gardens is celebrating 30 years in business! Thanks to you and the many folks who have bought our plants and products and taken our classes, and thanks to a great staff, we have succeeded in becoming a valuable resource for Boulder County and beyond.
We’ve been focusing on growing and providing plants that are well-adapted to Colorado conditions and will thrive without applications of chemicals or excessive amounts of water and fertilizers. And by focusing on native plants, organic vegetable and herb starts, a tremendous selection of perennials, sustainable roses, fruit plants and nutritious soils and amendments, we have promoted diversity and regeneration.

Our Vintage Poster
For 30 years we have been an organic nursery, growing and maintaining our plants organically. To succeed with this approach, we have learned to focus on the health, vitality, and resilience of our plants. That’s why they have such a good record of survival in your gardens and that’s why, in 2022, we are so well prepared to help you garden successfully in changing Climate conditions.
We had the right vision for the 21st Century, but it has only worked because all of you shared that vision and supported us and told your friends about us. And now many of you have gardens that are not only beautiful, but that reflect and promote your values of caring for the Earth and for pollinators and for the soil life and for each other. Our success in being here for 30 years is proof of the goodness and intelligence of human beings and of the insight that our planet will not only survive, but even with challenges, can thrive.
Our celebration plans will be taking shape over the next month, and we’ll soon be able to let you know of upcoming anniversary events and offers.
