Harlequin’s Gardens is a small family-owned business now in our 33rd year specializing in plants that are native, Colorado-adapted, water-wise, pollinator safe and supporting, organic veggie and herb starts, berries and fruit trees, and a wide selection of perennials and shrubs. We grow our plants organically and we are the preeminent sustainable gardening center on the Front Range. No toxic chemicals, great staff, respectful ecological environment.

We’re Hiring for 2026!

Newsletter & Marketing Specialist

Start Date: February 2026

General Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with ownership and leadership to create and ensure that our weekly e-newsletter is out in a timely fashion and produce accompanying and/or relevant posts on social media.
  • Upkeep of WordPress website, photo database, and newsletter archives
  • Execute effective marketing strategies in collaboration with company leadership

We’re seeking someone with a desire for community engagement and a love for our mission at Harlequin’s of supporting local ecology and gardeners of all ages and backgrounds. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience applying marketing and promotional strategies via different methods and tailoring content to different platforms while keeping brand consistency.

Reports to: Nursery Operations Lead and ownership. Please note that Harlequin’s has a flat hierarchy and all Department Leads share organizational leadership.

Compensation: Starting wage: $19/hr. Harlequin’s offers profit-sharing when possible, state mandated sick time on an accrual basis, 40% off plants and 30% off other merchandise, ongoing educational opportunities, and more.

Hours/Days of work: 20-25 hours per week, Tuesdays a must. The job will be hybrid, with both on-site work plus the flex to some remote work based upon the needs of the business and the individual. Necessary availability for bi-weekly Wednesday AM meetings and once-monthly Wednesday evening meetings.

Requirements: Candidates must own and be willing to use their own personal smart phone. Candidates must also have excellent writing skills, photographic skills, and experience posting on Instagram and Facebook.

The plants we grow are organically grown. All the plants we sell are free of bee-killing neonicotinoid pesticides.
