HARLEQUIN’S GARDENS IS
OPEN FOR BUSINESS
Harlequin’s Gardens will be open this week and hopefully longer. We are disinfecting and keeping a 6’ distance from each other, and only allowing 4 people at a time into our store. And we have plenty of unscented soap to wash your hands. Please help us maintain these precautions. If even one of our staff gets sick, we may have to close our doors.
There are some positive things we can do for our health, like getting exercise out in the fresh air and sunshine, and eating organic food fresh from the garden or our local farms. Get rest, meditate, pray, sleep, laugh a little. Just really do what we know is good for us. If we take good care of ourselves, we will be more capable of helping others.
For thousands of years, humans have earned value from the creative relationship between the sun and the earth through the vehicle of plants. And thank goodness, we humans can still gain value through gardening for food, beauty and the support of our bees, butterflies, beneficial insects, birds and soil life. Nature shows us the way to abundance.
And when we share that abundance, it warms the hearts of both giver and receiver. Recently a friend told Mikl that with his extra time these days, he is baking bread to share. Then he gave Mikl a fresh loaf along with a little jar of blackberry jam. “Guess where I got the blackberry starts,” he asked, “What goes around comes around.”
By the way, Black Cat Organic Farm has just opened a farm stand on the NW corner of Jay Road and The Diagonal. They have many kinds of vibrant, fresh greens and red and blue potatoes. Open 3pm-7:30pm.
There’s no better time to spread your love, than when times are tough.
We are working on creating a system by which you can place and pay for orders on-line, then come pick them up when we’ve notified you that your order is assembled. We hope to have it up and running soon, and we’ll keep you informed!
