Soil Products – 30% OFF while supplies last!

As we know, it all starts with the Soil, and we have some very special products to benefit your Soil Life and Your Plant Life! As the gardening season draws to a close, our product availability tightens. Stop by soon before they’re gone to stock up for next season at wonderfully reduced prices.

FERTILIZERS

Iron Rich Fertilizer 3-2-1: 10% available iron, 5% sulfur. Brings back chlorophyll to chlorotic maples, oaks, lawn, etc. Made from poultry manure, chelated iron and ferrous sulfate. Allowed for use in organic production when used for iron deficiency. Will stain sidewalks if not washed off.  (Hurry, only 4 Bags Left!)

Richlawn 5-3-2 organic: made in Platteville from poultry manure and wood wastes. Excellent for shrubs and trees and is recommended for raspberries and other small fruits. Economical and effective for fertilizing lawns.

COMPOSTS & SOIL CONDITIONERS

Compost Tea: enriches soil, prevents disease, supports and inoculates soil life, increases plant growth and flowering. We make our own from Biodynamic Compost. Local fertility. NOTE: This is the last week we will brew compost tea this year

Corn Gluten: a truly organic weed and feed; keeps weed seeds from growing, fertilizes with 9% N. Apply early spring and fall. (This is a perfect time!)

Eko Compost: made locally from egg farm chicken manure and wood wastes, locally proven many years.

Eko Lawn Topdressing: a fine grade of local Eko Compost, ideal to top-dress lawns following aeration and fertilizer; gets food and water-holding capacity to roots; great to apply to perennial plantings and shrub beds too.

Expanded Shale: a shale product that is mined and fired just south of Boulder to create a porous, light “gravel” that holds both water and air and creates optimal housing for microorganisms. Aids water penetration in tight clay soils (a Real ‘clay buster’) and improving drainage.

MULCHES

Fine Woodchip Mulch: mats tightly to prevent wind-scattering and keeps weed seeds from getting light; has more nutritive potential than cedar or redwood, decomposes rapidly against the soil. It also has the lowest flammability.

Squeegee: fine gravel (3/16”) for rock garden plants, cacti and plants needing a dry crown, like organic mulches, 1+” layer helps retain moisture in the soil, good seed bed for self-sowing plants. (Pictured right.)

POTTING SOILS

Ocean Forest: FoxFarm’s top grade with kelp meal, bat guano, crab and fishmeal, nutrient rich, performs well.

Coco Loco Potting Soil: FoxFarm potting soil uses Coco fiber instead of peat, looks good, performs well.
