It wasn’t too long ago when Harlequin’s Gardens only accepted cash (and we would extend credit to those customers who didn’t have cash with them). And now here we are, only accepting credit cards to help minimize contact and maximize social distancing. (Thankfully we had set-up our credit card system a few years ago.) We’re continuing to evolve by introducing on-line orders! Who would have thought?
Our Order On-Line Page lists all of our big-bag soil products (composts, fertilizers, potting soils, mulches). Each product has a link to description information, our current inventory count, along with a link to order your desired
quantity. (We are working to add the smaller items usually found inside our store.) We will have a separate spreadsheet for plants with a focus on fruits, vegetable starts and herbs, which we hope to have up by April 1. Since our inventory of plants is more fluid, you will need to email us what you desire. We will then call you with what we were able to put together for you, and your total bill. We will take your credit card payment over the phone and the next day you can pick up your order outside in a designated area with its own parking spots on the West side of our parking lot – please look for the signage near our yellow Welcome sign.
Both of these ordering systems will allow you to pre-order Monday through Wednesday for Thursday pick-up, and on Thursday for Friday pick-up. Payment for all on-line orders will be via credit card. Due to the busy nature of Saturday and Sunday, we are offering in-person sales only on those days.
This is a new adventure for us, and we are appreciative of the patience and understanding our customers have granted us in these challenging times!
We believe that growing your own food and gardening is part of the staying healthy, and the county seems to agree. Boulder County has exempted ‘Food Production and Agriculture’ from their closure of non-essential businesses.
