Our teachers have spent years honing their skills in Colorado and will help guide you to success. We are charging $20 (unless otherwise stated) for our classes to support our speakers and Harlequin’s educational direction. It is best to pre-register for these classes both in case they fill up, or too few people register, and we must cancel: The last day to register for any of our classes is 72 hours before start date. Pre-payment assures your place in the class. You can register on our website (best), by email, or at the nursery.
Most of our classes run from 1.5 to 2 hours in length, and sometimes longer for hands-on classes or if there are many questions. Because of Covid potential, we will be holding most of our classes at the Boulder Circus Center, where there is a bigger room. The Circus Center is located next door to Harlequin’s Wholesale at 4747 North 26th Street. You are welcome to call us with questions: 303-939-9403.
If you are a member and you want to take one class for 50% off, you will have to come into the nursery to register or register by email (staff @HarlequinsGardens.com) and pay before the class begins at Harlequin’s: The last day to register for any of our classes is 72 hours before start date, but members can pay at the store 30 minutes prior to class.

| Sat, Aug 13 – Growing Mushrooms on Logs and Stumps, with Zach Hedstrom (Hands-on workshop) | Class Time: 10:00 AM-1:00 PM. Growing on logs is one of the closest methods to the way mushrooms grow in nature, so one must apply some basic knowledge of ecology and natural systems to be successful. With sufficient care, mushroom logs can fruit for up to 6 years or more: intro to fungi, how to choose logs/stumps, 3 methods, log care, when to harvest, which mushrooms.
