Claude Shride Lily
Bulb. Z3. 3-4’ tall. Blooms in late spring. Compost-improved soil. Heirloom.
Unusual and interesting heirloom plant for your perennial garden! Also grows well in containers. Very tall, dark mahogany-red flowers speckled with occasional red/orange dots. The flowers hang upside down on graceful stems with whorled leaves. For optimum bloom, plant where lower stems are in shade and foliage in sun. Bees and butterflies love this plant. Grows well in containers and makes an excellent cut flower. May not bloom till second year. Very hardy once established.
