Harlequin’s Gardens opens Thursday!

Welcome to Harlequin’s Gardens’ 29th Year!   We will open this Thursday, March 4th so you can get a Jump on Spring! In Mid-February, just a couple of weeks ago, temperatures dived far below zero and Spring seemed a long way off. But even with Climate Change and Covid Chaos, we gardeners know we can depend on Spring coming. That is one of the guarantees of the basic goodness of our earth and solar system. (Pictured left, ‘Katharine Gold’ Botanical Iris.)

Spring is coming and our little plants, sheltered in our greenhouses are poking out green and doing their magic of photosynthesis. Even with all the pain and uncertainty of 2020, we gardeners were able to enjoy

the peace and comfort of our plants and our gardens with the insects and birds and our children. At Harlequin’s Gardens, we’ve been ordering, cleaning, repairing and getting ready to host you. We care about your success and your health and our planet. In the fresh air and with 6’ spacing, we will help you. We have curated selections of seeds, and seed-starting supplies, tools, books, soil nourishing products. AND beekeeping supplies.

And with warm weather, our plants are coming. ALL of our plants are free from bee/insect-killing neonicotinoid pesticides. Our Veggie Starts are organic; our Harlequin-grown plants are all pesticide-free. Our overwintered plants can be planted in March. This year our empowering classes will mostly be on Zoom, still with great teachers. Watch our website for our Class Schedule as it develops, and for class descriptions and details. Please encourage your friends to subscribe to our weekly e-newsletters for important advice and announcements.

We are excited to see you again soon!
