Autumn is Here!
And so is our annual Fall Sale! This lovely spate of light rain, cool autumnal days & nights, and the change in foliage colors signal our arrival into Autumn. Just as the falling leaves fertilize the plants for their winter hibernation, we should also do to our cultivated gardens. Harlequin’s Gardens has many plants, fertilizers and soil products for you, and some are 30% off for our Fall Sale!

We Still Have Garlic and Red Shallots for Planting!
We are still well-stocked with German Brown hardneck garlic. This new, rare Rocambole – type variety can produce big bulbs (4” diameter) with a well-rounded garlic flavor. The clove wrappers are more distinctively brown, thus was selected for this trait. It produces larger bulbs than German Red and outperforms many other Rocambole strains. Harvest in Mid-Season.
and Inchelium Red softneck garlic: large 3″ + bulbs produce 8-20 cloves of good size. Mild, but lasting flavor, with a hint of hot! Dense cloves store extremely well. Flavor can get stronger in storage. This vigorous soft-necked variety won a Rodale taste test of 20 garlic strains – named “Very Best of the Soft-Necks”. Inchelium Red is also exceptionally healthy, easy to peel, and easy to grow!
We have decided to bring in and bag another load of Eco-Gro Compost and a load of our Fine Wood-chip Mulch. Both will be sold at our original prices and are not part of our Fall Sale.
